Joel Griffiths is considered by many to be the golden boy of Newcastle football. His career has spanned England, Japan, Switzerland and China and the key role he played in the Jets attack led the team to win the 2007-08 A-League championship. Joel now serves the Club as Player Welfare Officer as well as owning his own business and offers a unique insight into managing athletes.
Professional footballer, Head Coach, Mayor of Gosford City Council and CEO of the Newcastle Jets; these are just some of the titles McKinna has on his extensive resume. Lawrie is well known for his focus on community as well as his ability to build valuable business partnerships. He tells is like it is with a thick Scottish accent – we dare you NOT to enjoy hearing one of his talks.
